In 2022, all Ukrainians were forced to face unpredictable challenges. The CF CARITAS-DNEPR decided to create a project that would provide assistance to those in need, in particular, raising funds for solid fuel to provide warmth to those who lost everything due to the war. This project will help those who were left without gas and will help them restore their lives.

Humanitarian aid

The "Karidad-Dnipro" Charity Fund is launching a humanitarian support project for families who are suffering from hostilities in eastern and northeastern Ukraine. The project involves providing affected families with food and hygiene products. Anyone can support the project by donating money, transferring goods, or spreading information about the project on social media.

Open Creative Space

The "Open Creative Space" project is a cultural initiative that combines a physical creative space and an online resource for collaborative musical and interdisciplinary work. The project is aimed at developing cultural participation, social interaction, and integration through creativity in partnership with an organization from the Creative Europe country. Its goal is to create an open environment where children, youth, internally displaced persons, veterans, and local residents can meet, rehearse, experiment, and create joint cultural products for free.

Housing for IDPs who lost their homes

The project is aimed at providing internally displaced persons in Kamianske with safe temporary housing. We are converting available facilities, equipping them with necessary living conditions, and providing free accommodation for the most vulnerable categories - families with children, elderly people, and people with disabilities. The initiative also includes social and psychological support to help people adapt and rebuild stable lives. The goal is to reduce the risk of homelessness and create decent conditions for those who have lost their homes due to the war.

Search for shelter abroad

The project is aimed at helping internally displaced Ukrainians who have lost their homes due to the war. We have created a register of families in need of shelter and are establishing partnerships with organizations in Germany for their safe relocation. The initiative involves selecting the most vulnerable categories (mothers with children, elderly people, people with disabilities), finding host communities, organizing the move, and providing further support in the new location. The goal of the project is to create a sustainable mechanism of cooperation between the Ukrainian foundation and European partners to give people the opportunity to start a new life in safe conditions.

Psychological assistance

The goal of the project is to provide psychological support to internally displaced children in the city of Kamianske and their families. The project involves providing individual consultations, group classes, art therapy, and other forms of support to minimize the impact of trauma and increase the psychological resilience of families. The project is designed for 5 months and involves various activities, including art and game sessions for children, trips to a horse farm, support groups for adults, and others.

Assistance to orphanages

The Charitable Fund "Karidad-Dnipro" has launched a new project to help children's homes and boarding schools, which includes the restoration and equipment of premises, as well as providing material and emotional support to children who have been left without parental care. The goal of the project is to create a safe and cozy environment for children, where they can develop and feel loved and protected. Every contribution to this project contributes to improving the living conditions of children in need.

Armenia-Artsakh-Ukraine

"Karidad-Dnipro" opens its doors and hearts to people who were forced to leave their homes in Artsakh. Our project gives not only basic assistance, but also a sense of security, community, and hope for the future. The "Home of Hope" project is designed to provide comprehensive support to refugees and to open a new, safe page in their lives.

Legal assistance

The project was created with the aim of providing free legal support to citizens who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the war, forced displacement, loss of property, work, or other crisis situations. Our goal is to provide access to professional legal information and help people protect their rights in a lawful manner. Consultations are provided free of charge and are conducted remotely for citizens throughout Ukraine.

Medical assistance

The Charitable Fund "Caridad-Dnipro" provides medical assistance to the most vulnerable categories of the population, such as internally displaced persons, elderly people, large families, and low-income citizens. The Fund guarantees access to medical services for those categories of citizens who, due to various circumstances, cannot pay for treatment on their own. This is achieved by providing financial assistance in the field of medical care to those who are in greatest need.

Modular houses

The Charitable Fund Caridad-Dnipro is developing the "Modular Houses" project, turnkey, for internally displaced persons. The main goal of the project is to provide temporary and permanent housing for those who find themselves in a critical situation. Modular houses are an effective and rapid solution for creating housing, designed with consideration for all modern safety, comfort, and energy efficiency standards.

Generators and Charging Stations

Ukraine needs help in ensuring electricity supply during wartime. Generators and portable charging devices are necessary to maintain livelihoods, safety, and communication in areas without access to centralized electricity. Assistance will be provided primarily to IDPs who are in camps or temporary settlements, as well as in front-line areas.
