The "Caridad-Dnipro" Charitable Foundation was established on February 20, 2024, with the aim of providing assistance to various groups of people facing difficult life circumstances, as well as supporting animals and promoting cultural initiatives in the context of humanitarian crises.

The Foundation operates in Ukraine and abroad, responding to humanitarian, social, cultural, and emergency needs arising from war and other crises.

Areas of the Foundation's Activities

The activities of the CARIDAD-DNIPRO Charitable Foundation are aimed at:

  • Assistance to internally displaced persons, pensioners, large families, and other vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities
  • Support for orphanages and social welfare institutions
  • Support for animal shelters, as well as assistance for stray and injured animals
  • Provision of legal assistance
  • The implementation of cultural and educational projects aimed at supporting communities, preserving cultural identity, and fostering cultural dialogue
  • Providing assistance to other groups in need of support in Ukraine and abroad

Humanity

The Foundation works to alleviate human suffering, protect life, dignity, and fundamental human rights, and promotes the humane treatment of animals.

Impartiality

Assistance is provided solely on the basis of the actual needs of affected individuals and organizations, without discrimination on any grounds.

Independence

The Foundation maintains its independence in decision-making and is not influenced by political, military, or economic interests.

Accountability and Transparency

The Foundation ensures the responsible use of charitable resources and strives to maintain transparency in its activities toward beneficiaries, partners, and the public.

Our main areas of focus

1. Assistance to vulnerable groups

Providing social and humanitarian assistance to people with disabilities, internally displaced persons, retirees, large families, and other vulnerable groups.

Assistance may include:

  • Medications
  • Food
  • Solid fuel for heating (firewood, pellets)
  • Drinking water
  • Clothing and essential items

2. Support for the population affected by the war in Ukraine

Charitable activities aimed at assisting Ukrainian citizens and their families affected by the war, particularly in the areas of humanitarian, social, legal, and rehabilitation support.

3. Helping animals

Support for animal shelters and assistance for stray and injured animals, including:

  • Feed supply
  • Veterinary care
  • Medications and personal care products
  • Evacuation and temporary shelter in the event of an emergency

4. Cultural and Educational Projects

The Foundation implements cultural initiatives aimed at:

  • Support for Ukrainian artists, cultural figures, and local communities
  • Organizing cultural, educational, and interdisciplinary events
  • Preserving and Promoting Ukrainian Culture During the War and in the Postwar Recovery Period
  • Documenting cultural practices and collaborative creativity
  • Promoting cultural exchange and international cooperation

5. Reconstruction of Ukraine

Supporting initiatives aimed at Ukraine’s social, humanitarian, and cultural recovery, strengthening communities, and building a safe and dignified future for its citizens.
