Problem

Thousands of Ukrainian families have lost their homes due to the hostilities. They are forced to rent temporary apartments, live in dormitories or even in uninhabitable conditions. For many, this has become a real challenge - especially for families with children, the elderly and people with disabilities.

Purpose

Provide internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Kamianske with safe temporary housing and create conditions for a stable life until they can return home or find permanent housing.

What we do

• Search and repair of available premises that can be quickly converted into housing.
• Providing rooms with basic furniture and household appliances.
• Providing families with free accommodation for a certain period of time.
• Support by social workers and psychologists to help people adapt.

Expected result

• Each family will have a roof over their heads and will be able to start rebuilding their lives.
• Reduced risk of homelessness and social exclusion among IDPs.
• The city will get a more stable situation with the accommodation of IDPs.
