As a result of the fighting in eastern and northeastern Ukraine, thousands of families have been left without homes, access to food, drinking water and basic necessities. The Caridad-Dnipro Charitable Foundation is launching an emergency support project to immediately provide the victims with the most necessary supplies.
The problem we solve
Families who have lost their homes are often left without the ability to cook or purchase basic care products.
Children and the elderly are particularly vulnerable to nutritional and sanitation shortages.
In a crisis, people are forced to choose between nutrition and basic hygiene, which increases the risk of disease and exacerbates the humanitarian situation. caridad-dnipro.org
Project goal
Provide the most vulnerable families with balanced food packages and hygiene products to cover their daily needs and prevent the deterioration of health and dignity of people in need.
Transparent selection of suppliers. Commercial offers are collected through the Zakupivli.pro platform; the best price and quality is selected, and a framework agreement is concluded. caridad-dnipro.org
Purchasing and packaging. A team of volunteers creates individual kits that meet food and sanitary safety standards.
Targeted delivery. The humanitarian packages are delivered directly to families in areas of compact residence to ensure that the aid reaches its intended destination quickly and accurately.
Reporting. The Foundation publishes open reports on each stage - from procurement to delivery of aid to beneficiaries, including photo confirmation and supporting documentation.
